Hi, I'm Selina Merfol

I spend my days as a data analyst and most of my remaining hours wondering what else I can learn, build, or create.

That curiosity has led me in a few different directions: a part-time PhD in Informatics, mentoring in data visualization, and a persistent belief that one day I'll finish writing a book. They're all very different pursuits, but they stem from the same thing—a fascination with how people make sense of the world through information, stories, and ideas.

This site is a snapshot of that journey. You'll find work, projects, experiments, and notes from whatever has captured my attention lately. Some things are polished. Many are still in progress. And, naturally, it's all powered by an unreasonable amount of espresso and iced coffee.
